About the Journal

The “International Academy of Practical Theology. Conference Series” (IAPT.CS) provides documentation of the bi-annual conferences of the Academy for scholars and interested readers around the world.

This way, the Conference Series shares the values and goals of the International Academy of Practical Theology to promote the study of and critical reflection on practical theological thought and action – bearing in mind the various historical and cultural contexts in which practical theology is done. For more information visit the Homepage of the Academy: http://www.ia-practicaltheology.org/

Each volume of the Conference Series is reflecting the respective topic discussed at the Conference and is consisting of contributions made by members of the Academy at the conference. The articles in the journal are double peer reviewed by members of the Advisory Board (Júlio Cézar Adam (Brazil), HyeRan Kim-Cragg (Canada), Raymond Simanga Kumalo (South Africa), Emmanuel Lartey (USA), Birgitte Lerheim (Norway), Mary Clark Moschella (USA), Neil Pembroke (Australia), and Birgit Weyel (Germany)) and the local editorial team (currently: Annemie Dillen, Amy Casteel, Armin Kummer, and Jos De Kock) of the Conference Series.
